'Tiger 3' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is all set for a Diwali release, November 12. 'Tiger 3' is all set for a massive opening. As per various reports, the film has already sold 3.63 lakh tickets.
'Tiger 3' will receive an unconventional Sunday debut, according to trade experts Akshaye Rathi and Ramesh Bala. IndiaToday.in exclusively spoke to them to understand the box office prediction of 'Tiger 3'.
Talking about the Day 1 box office prediction of 'Tiger 3', Akshaye Rathi said, "With a lot of festivities around here and people busy in them, there would be a bit of an impact on Day 1. In
fact, a huge impact. Despite that, considering the craze of the film and the franchise, I think it's more than possible for the film to clock Rs 30-35 crore on Day 1 despite everything. However, the day after Diwali would be huge and there I expect it to do a bare minimum of Rs 50 crore (business). It's going to be a terrific collection. It's definitely going to be one of the highest-grossing films in Bollywood."
Ramesh Bala said, "On Day 1, I am expecting Rs 30-35 crore max in India. Globally, it will be released a day before in many countries. It will release on Saturday. So, I am expecting it to do somewhere between Rs 75 crore to Rs 100 crore (business). These are gross collections."
