Union Minister L Murugan inaugurates India Pavilion at Cannes 2023

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan on Wednesday, May 17, inaugurated the India Pavilion at Cannes 2023. Present alongside the minister was Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga, Sara Ali Khan, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vijay Varma and Khushbu Sundar.

Minister L Murugan who is leading the Indian delegation at the ongoing 76th Cannes Film Festival, attended the event in a traditional Veshti as an ode to the Indian culture. Looking stunning in white, Sara exuded elegance in a cord set. On the other hand, Guneet Monga



and Vijay Varma too twinned in white at the India pavilion inauguration.

Murugan inaugurated the India pavilion while showcasing India’s creative economy at International Village Riviera.

Various celebrity delegates will be a part of the pavilion this year. India’s Cannes Pavilion has been designed and conceptualized by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad – with the theme, Showcasing India’s Creative Economy.
