Veteran actor Richard Foronjy died on Sunday. He was 86. The actor was known for playing pivotal supporting roles in multiple gangster dramas.
Richard notably featured in acclaimed movies such as Midnight Run, Prince of the City, Carlito’s Way and Serpico.
Richard was seen as Corsaro in Serpico, a film which featured Oscar-winning Al Pacino
in the lead role.
In the 80s movie Midnight Run, Richard played a memorable part as mobster Tony Darvo, where he got to share screen space with Charlies Grodin and Robert De Niro.
Richard Foronjy is survived by his partner Wendy Odell Chiaro, and by his children, Charles Foronjy, Susan Argentina, Christine Argentina and Richard Foronjy.
