Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri, who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, was discharged from the hospital today (September 19). She was admitted to the hospital on September 12. The 59-year-old actress was receiving treatment for the novel coronavirus at Holy Spirit hospital in Mumbai.
In an interview with PTI, Himani said that the doctors have advised her to stay in quarantine as there
was an improvement in her health. "There is improvement in my health and doctors suggested I should be in home quarantine for 15 days and then I will get myself tested again," she said.
On Friday, the actor thanked doctors and other medical staff for their service. She wrote, "A big thank you to our Covid warriors, the hospital staff, am back in home quarantine! Thank you all for your positive wishes."
