Khuda Hafiz 2 is set to release after the makers of the film assured the court that changes suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will be carried out before it hits cinemas on July 8. The petitioners - All India Idarae Tahfuz-e-Husainiyat had approached the court to stall and ban the release of the film and withdrawal of the trailer from media portals. The Vidyut Jammwal-starrer has been accused of hurting religious
sentiments.
Advocate Advait Sethna appearing for CBFC informed the court that based on the complaints filed by the petitioners, the CBFC had suggested certain changes to the film. Advocate Simil Purohit, who represented Khuda Hafiz 2 producers, informed the court that after making the required changes, the film had been modified and a revised certificate had also been issued. He informed the court that changing the trailer of the film would require some time.
