Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan film LIC (Love Insurance Corporation) has reportedly received a notice from insurance company, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) over its title usage.
Cinema Xpress reported that the notice states the insurance company doesn't want the film's team to go further with its title. The notice is also said to have stated that if the makers don't change the film's name within the next seven days, they could face legal action.
Love Insurance Corporation stars actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. It was
announced in December last year. The film also features SJ Suryah in a significant part. Vignesh had shared photos from the muhrat and captioned the images, "Thanking God and the universe for making this dream project of mine come true."
LIC marks the first collaboration between Vigesh Shivan, Pradeep and Krithi. The film is being bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures.
The music of the film is being scored by the popular musician, Anirudh Ravichander, who has worked with Shivan multiple times previously. The cinematography is being handled by Ravi Varman.
