Vikas Khanna confirms Shabana Azmi to be a part of his next film

Celebrity chef and filmmaker Vikas Khanna just confirmed that Shabana Azmi will be a part of his next project.

Vikas is all set to convert his 2011 novel into a movie that he's extremely excited about. In an exclusive chat with India Today, Vikas shared how, for a very long time, he pursued Shabana Azmi to become a part of this film. Although the process took time, Vikas confirmed that Shabana Azmi will be



acting in it.

The star chef and filmmaker added, "This will bring out a whole new spectrum to my cooking and filmmaking". Khanna stated that while both cooking and filmmaking are stressful, he enjoys participating in the process.

Apart from the Shabana Azmi film, Vikas Khanna has boarded the acclaimed animated short film 'American Sikh' as an executive producer along with Guneet Monga.
