Vikrant Massey to play Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in upcoming film 'White'

Director Siddharth Anand of 'Pathaan' and 'War' fame has teamed up with producer Mahaveer Jain for their international project titled 'White.' Touted to be an edge-of-the-seat global thriller, 'White' will feature Vikrant Massey in the role of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The story is centred on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s crucial role in helping resolve Colombia’s brutal civil war, a 52-year-long conflict that had left the nation scarred for decades. Production for the film is currently underway in Colombia, with principal photography scheduled to begin in July. The film will be directed by ad filmmaker Montoo Bassi and co-produced by Peacecraft Pictures, alongside Anand and Jain.

Described as a gripping global thriller, 'White' promises to blend real-world history with



cinematic storytelling. The film brings together a high-profile international crew to recreate the inspiring journey of peace and spiritual diplomacy that led to the resolution of one of the world’s longest-running civil conflicts.

Massey, who was praised for his brilliant performances in '12th Fail' and 'Sector 36', has reportedly undergone significant physical transformation for the role. The actor was seen sporting a new look, featuring longer hair. The actor even met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in October last year while preparing for the film.

Speaking about the film, the creators describe 'White' as not just a cinematic experience, but a tribute to how ancient Indian wisdom contributed to a monumental act of peace in the modern world.The movie will be made in English and Spanish.
