After the smashing success of the critically acclaimed The Kashmir Files, Vivek Agnihotri began shooting his next film, The Vaccine War. The film has gone on floor in Lucknow with the shooting happening extensively in and around the city.
After highlighting the atrocities faced by the Kashmiri Hindus in 1990 through his last release, The Kashmir Files, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is all set to bring forth another vital story through his forthcoming film, The Vaccine War.
The film which was, announced on Agnihotri's birthday, has finally gone on floors on December 14. The movie is scheduled to
release on Independence Day, August 15, 2023, in 11 languages. The director announced the filming on Twitter with a picture from the muhurat ceremony.
The picture showed the clapper board along with the script kept in front of the idols as the entire team took blessings before beginning the film. Agnihotri captioned the picture and wrote, “GM. We live for new things. New happiness. New waves of laughter. New challenges. Yet, we feel comfortable in the old & established and stick to it. This contradiction gives suffering. The fastest and surest way to find happiness: Jump into uncertainty. The unknown (sic).”
