Director Manjul Sinha, best known for the iconic television show Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, died on Tuesday night in Goa while holidaying with his family. He suffered a heart attack and collapsed, and despite efforts, he could not receive medical aid in time.
Producer Ashoke Pandit confirmed the news to India Today Digital and shared,
Manjul was an institution and his passing away is a huge loss for the industry. I started my TV career with him, and worked under him for more than a decade. I am yet to overcome this loss.
While he was cremated in Goa, the family plans to have a prayer meet soon in Mumbai for all his friends and colleagues to pay their last respects.
