Zoya Akhtar reveals the first look of characters from ‘The Archies’

The Indian adaptation of ‘The Archies’ will drop on Netflix this November. Ahead of it, Zoya Akhtar on August 5 dropped the first look of each character, finally revealing who plays what.

While Suhana Khan plays Veronica, Khushi Kapoor will be seen as Betty. Additionally, Agastya Nanda will be seen playing the role of Archie, alongside Mihir Ahuja as Jughead.

Zoya has described each character through an Instagram post, giving us a glimpse of what the audience can look forward to.



Describing Archie as the ‘heartthrob of Riverdale,’ she calls Betty the ‘girl-next-door’. She describes Veronica as someone who can go from 'sassy to classy' and Jughead as a foodie.

The upcoming teen film will mark the debut of Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya, among others. The entire gang of 'The Archies' was at the TUDUM event held in Brazil recently to unveil the trailer of the feature film.
