On Thursday, in a piece of surprising news, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan announced on social media that she has decided to quit the showbiz industry and wishes to spend her life serving humanity and following the orders of her 'creator'.
Taking to her verified Instagram handle, Sana Khan stated that she had resolved to say goodbye to her showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the commandments of her creator.
She captioned the post, "My happiest moment. May Allah help me n guide me in this journey. Aap sab mujhe dua Mai Shamil rakhe (Keep me in your prayers).”
In her long note, shared as an image on Instagram, Sana wrote, "I am at an important juncture in my life. For years, I have been living the Showbiz (Film Industry) life, and during this time I have been blessed with all kinds of fame, honour and wealth from my fans for which I am grateful to them. But, for the last few days, a thought has kept me occupied. I have been wondering, does one take birth only to earn wealth and fame for oneself? Isn't it a moral responsibility of humans to serve or support those who are helpless or needy? Shouldn't people think about what will happen to them in the after-life since one can die at any given time?"
"I have been finding answers to these question for a very long time, especially the second question about what will happen to me in my after-life. When I looked for answers to these questions in my religion, I found out that we take birth in this worldly life to make our after-life better in many ways. And it will only be better when one leads his/her life according to the commandments of his/her creator, and does not make money and fame their only objective in life. Instead, one should stay away
from the world of sin and serve humanity, walk in the direction and path laid down by his/her creator," she added.
Sana continued, "This is the reason why today I declare that I have resolved to renounce this showbiz (film industry) and wish to serve humanity and follow the orders of my creator."
"All siblings brothers and sisters are mentioned to appeal to God for me to Allah to acknowledge my atonement and award me the genuine capacity to live as per my assurance of going through my time on earth following the rules of my Creator and in the administration of humankind and award me constancy. At long last, all siblings and sisters are mentioned to not reach me with respect to any showbiz-related work or welcome me for any industry-related occasions hereafter," Sana closed.
Sana has been part of several films including 'Wajah Tum Ho', 'Jai Ho' among others. She has been a part of television reality shows on like 'Bigg Boss6', 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7', 'Comedy Nights Bachao', 'Entertainment Ki Raat' and 'Kitchen Champion'.
Earlier this year, Sana accused boyfriend Melvin Louis of cheating on her. Sana revealed that issues had been brewing up after they were together for eight months.
Sana told Bombay Times, "I broke up with Melvin because he was cheating on me. I had loved him with all my heart and was committed to him. What I got in return has disturbed and shaken me. I have developed anxiety issues and am dealing with depression ever since."
Earlier, in 2019, National Award-winning actor Zaira Wasim too had announced her decision to disassociate from Bollywood and acting, citing that the lifestyle had taken her away from her faith and towards a ‘path of ignorance.
