India's Lakshya Sen faced a tough defeat in the Paris Olympics men's singles badminton bronze medal match. Actor Ranveer Singh has shown his support for the 22-year-old player, who became the first Indian male shuttler to reach the semi-finals in Olympic men's badminton.

Ranveer praised Lakshya's efforts despite the loss and encouraged him to 'fight another day.' Ranveer posted a picture of Lakshya on Instagram Stories, captioning it, "What a player! What

endurance, what agility, what a range of shots, what focus, what grit, what smarts. Scintillating badminton on display! (sic)"

The 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' actor added, "It's difficult to encapsulate just how brilliant he's been at the Olympics. Missed out narrowly in a game of extremely small margins. But he's only 22 and he is just getting started (sic)."

He concluded with, "Fight another day. Proud of you, starboy. @senlakshya (sic)."
