Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming films Jawan and Dunki already seem to be making records even before their theatrical releases. The films’ digital and satellite rights are expected to be sold for Rs 480 crore, a milestone for the actor.

Shah Rukh will be seen doing intense action in Tamil filmmaker Atlee’s maiden pan-India venture Jawan. The film is slated to release on September 7. In Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, the actor will be part of a story that is expected to highlight the rampant use of an illegal backdoor route called ‘Donkey Flight’ by Indians to migrate to countries like Canada and the USA.

According to sources close to the actor, “The rights of Jawan are digital satellite and music has been sold for about 250

crores. The rights of Dunki has been sold for about Rs 230 crores which individually to date stands the highest for any film”.

As per a Box Office Worldwide report, the music rights of Jawan have been bought by T-Series for Rs 36 crore. Though many music companies were in the running to buy the music rights of the action-thriller, T-Series has secured the rights.

This comes as another monetary win for the actor, whose last film Pathaan broke several box office records and emerged as one of the highest-grossing films in India. The trailer of Jawan will be attached to Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One in theatres. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
