Wife complains about husband farting loudly and proudly in public

A woman has opened up about her husband farting loudly in public without a care in the world. He farts loudly and proudly.

The woman said that she knew very early in her relationship about this habit of her husband and he has continued it over the years.

She shared an incident when she was meeting her colleagues in a non-professional environment for the first time. She had been at the job for just two months. When she approached the table at the restaurant, her colleagues stood up to greet her and her husband.

As soon as her top boss reached out to shake hands with her husband, he did more than just shake it.  

"While still in the midst of the introductory gesture, he also let out a huge fart. It was as if that was just a part of what you did when you met someone for the first time, a person that your wife was trying to appear professional in front of - shake and fart," she told media.

While her colleagues had reactions of shock and disgust, she was left embarrassed by her



husband's act. However, her husband went on to shake hands with other people on the table - as if nothing had happened.

"While I don't have an issue with farting or burping at home, I do think when you are in public or at social events that common courtesy should prevail and you save the release of whatever gas is building for home, or at least the toilet," she said.

However, her husband does not agree with her views. "Instead, he is very comfortable, confident even, in letting the loudest and most foul-smelling farts out whenever and wherever he needs to," she said.

She added, "In his eyes, farting, in fact, any type of flatulence is perfectly normal. Like Shrek, [he] says 'better out than in' whenever I raise it as an issue."

The wife has pleaded with her husband numerous times to quit the habit, however, he continues to do it.

Now, she just pretends that she doesn't know him if they're out shopping, however, in social gatherings, she just has to acknowledge it, apologise for it and move on.
