Mumbai: Pankaj Tripathi who has received rave reviews for his varied roles in superhit films, is achieving milestones in Hollywood.
The Bollywood actor is creating a niche for himself in the International Film market. His film 'Newton' recently won an award in the Berlin Film Festival.
Talking about the same he says, "My film 'Newton' recently won an award in Berlin Film Festival. I have played a grey shade, i.e of an armed force CRPF commando. Even though I have a grey character, there is also a bit of humour in it."
The film also received the Best
Film award in Hong Kong film Festival last week. Apart from awards, it was also premiered in America's 'Tribaca Film Festival' on April 24, 25 and 26.
Not only this, his other film, 'Gudgaon' will be screened in the New York International Film Festival on May 2.
For the first time, an actor's two films are creating rage in international film festivals.
Pankaj's upcoming films include, 'Bariley ki Barfi', 'Munna Michael' and he is playing in these films as well he has unique characters but details about it will be unveiled in the coming days.
