Tina Turner, popularly known as "Queen of rock ’n roll" died on Wednesday after a long illness. She was 83. The statement regarding her demise was shared on her official , Facebook page.
"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for
life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow," the statement said.
Turner’s career spanned over 60 years and includes songs like "What’s Love Got to Do with It", "Proud Mary" and "A fool in love".
