The rural court in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on April 5 will announce the verdict in the Salman Khan Kankani Black Buck case. Apart from Salman, actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre as well as Dushyant Singh are accused in the case.
Final arguments on both sides have been completed in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Rural Court in Jodhpur. Apart from Salman's lawyer Hastimal Saraswat, lawyers of all other parties were present in the court hearing today.
During the shoot of the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain, Salman Khan allegedly went on a shooting expedition along with
Saif, Neelam, Sonali and Tabu, killing two black bucks in Kankani area.Following a hue and cry by the local Bishnoi community, a case was filed against Salman Khan and other actors, along with one local person, Dushyant Singh, in the matter.
Earlier, Salman got reprieved owing to his acquittal by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Dalpat Singh in the Arms Act case. In two other cases, Salman Khan allegedly went on shooting expeditions killing two chinkaras in Bhawad area and another one in Ghoda Farms. He was, however, acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in July, 2016, in the Chinkara poaching case.
