Well-known singer Mohammed Aziz passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday aged 64.
Sources said, Aziz was brought dead to Nanavati Hospital, a little past 3 PM. A post mortem is being conducted to ascertain his cause of death.
Aziz recorded over 20,000 songs in his three decade long career. Apart from recording several devotional Bhajans and Sufi songs, Aziz sung for numerous Hindi, Bengali and Odia films. Mohammed Aziz made
his singing debut with Bengali film Jyoti.
His first big break in Bollywood came with the song "Mard Taangewala" for Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Mard".
Some of Aziz’s famous songs include 'Imli Ka Boota', 'Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se', 'Ek Dusre Se Karte Hai Pyar Hum’, 'Roz Roz Aankhon Tale', 'Aankhon Hi Aankhon Main', 'Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka' and 'My Name is Lakhan'.
