SRK, Kajol, Rani likely to open Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan Season 6?

Koffee With Karan, which is hosted by Bollywood's very own Karan Johar, gives us inside details and gossip about our favourite stars as they sit on the controversial couch and spill all the beans. 

 

KWK Season 6 seems to be promising with spicier guests and one wonders who will headline the opening episode. Given that last year ended with a bang as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in December 2017, rumours were rife that Virushka would be a part of the first episode of KWK. 

 

While Karan was ecstatic about Virushka being his first guests, work date issues of the couple posed a problem. Leave it to Karan's close friends to come to the rescue. 

 

According to sources, the first guests on the show could likely be the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai



trio - Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. The timing for the trio to appear on KWK would be perfect as the show rolls out in September and will begin airing in October. Coincidentally, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai celebrates 20 years on October 16, 1998, and hence SRK, Kajol and Rani's appearance on KWK would be perfect. 

 

The trio had earlier been seen opening Season 2 of Koffee With Karan back in 2007.

 

A source close to KJo revealed, "One may argue that the combination lacks novelty, but it scores on nostalgic value. The line-up is yet to be drawn. It's still in the brainstorming stage. A lot of names are being tossed around and it's too early to say."
