Three-day IIFA Awards to begin from today

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards are set to return to  Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, for a star-studded celebration of Indian cinema from September 27-29, 2024. This 24th edition of the IIFA Festival promises to be the grandest yet, uniting five iconic film industries for a showcase of talent and glamour.

The three-day extravaganza kicks off with the IIFA Utsavam Awards on Friday, highlighting South Indian cinema. Saturday’s main event, the IIFA Awards, will honour Hindi cinema’s finest. The festival concludes on Sunday with IIFA Rocks, a vibrant



celebration of music, fashion, and entertainment.

Hosted at the Etihad Arena under the patronage of  Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence, the event boasts an impressive lineup of stars and performances. Highlights include Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal hosting the main awards, with performances by Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, and other Bollywood luminaries. This cinematic celebration aims to foster global connections and showcase Abu Dhabi as a premier international destination.
