WAVES Summit to Be Held in Mumbai from May 1–4: Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) will be held from 1st May to 4th May in Mumbai. Talking to media in New Delhi on Monday, Mr. Vaisnaw said that a very strong creator economy is forming in the country because Digital India has brought digital technologies to every



corner of the nation. He added that due to the Digital India Programme, the youth in the smallest of villages are receiving opportunities. 

The minister informed us that investors from all over the world are coming to this summit to invest in India’s creative economy.
