10,167 Covid-19 cases as the cumulative touched 1,30,557 in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh recorded highest single-day spike of 10,167 Covid-19 cases as the cumulative touched 1,30,557 Thursday. A new day’s high fatalities of 68 pushes toll to 1,281.

Andhra Pradesh logged a single-day biggest jump of 10,093 cases, pushing the tally to 1.2 lakh. It also said a



record number of 70,584 tests were done during the last 24 hours ending at 9 AM. 

The state saw 65 new COVID-19 deaths during the period, taking the toll to 1,213. The infection positivity rate in the state has now shot up to 6.61 per cent while the recovery rate was 46.02 per cent.
