Srinagar: In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the COVID 19 cases have seen a slight upward trend in the last few days, even as 107 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
 
These new cases include 45 from Jammu division and 62 from Kashmir division.
 
One COVID related death was also reported in Jammu division.
 
Moreover, 100 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 29 from Jammu



Division and 71 from Kashmir Division.
 
Besides this, 62.11 percent of the population above the age of 18 years and 99.75 percent of the population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.
 
The recovery rate has reached 98.28 percent.
 
All schools, colleges and other educational institutions including coaching centres shall remain closed till further orders in the Union Territory.
