12,795 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Bihar

In Bihar, fresh cases of Covid-19 continue to rise rapidly. Record number of 12 thousand 795 fresh cases were reported in the state yesterday. 118 deaths were also reported. With this, casualties due to the pandemic have gone upto two thousand 155. Positivity rate has gone upto over 12 percent. Maximum positive cases of one  thousand 848 reported were reported from Patna followed by one thousand 340 from



Gaya.

Active cases in the state have gone up to 87 thousand 154 and they are undergoing treatment at different hospitals. Recovery rate is decreasing and it is now at 77.87 percent. Over three lakh 14 thousand patients have so far recovered from infection.

53 thousand 311 people took the vaccine yesterday. Over 66 lakh 18  thousand 29 people have so far been vaccinated in the state.
