1,296 new cases along with six deaths sees in Telangana

Telangana has reported 1296 new Covid-19 infections and six fatalities on Sunday, pushing the toll to 415 and the total number of positive cases since the onset of the pandemic to 45, 076. The fatality rate of Covid-19 positive cases in Telangana State is less than one per cent at 0.9 per cent.

In the 24-hours, the health authorities have conducted tests on 12, 519 samples out of which



1296 have tested positive. Areas under GHMC reported 557 positive cases while 111 cases were reported from Rangareddy and 87 from Medchal.

According to the health bulletin, the number of persons who recovered on Sunday was 1, 831, which has taken the overall number of recoveries to 32, 438 with a recovery rate of 72 per cent. The number of active Covid-19 infection in the State is 12, 224.
