1,305 new Covid-19 cases reported in Gujarat

In Gujarat, 1305 new cases of Covid19 were recorded during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has further improved to 80.82 percent. More than 24 lakh 84 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date, out of which 74,523 tests were carried out yesterday. Out of 1305 new cases, the maximum 176 new cases were reported from Surat city.

 

Ahmedabad recorded 149 cases, while Jamnagar recorded 125 cases during the last 24 hours. Total cases of Covid19 in the state have gone up to 99050. At present



15948 active cases in the state, out of which 94 patients are on ventilator. At the other end, 1141 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery.

 

Total patients recovered from Covid19 have gone up to 80054. 12 patients have lost their lives yesterday, taking the total death due to Covid19 in the state up to 3048. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 25 new areas in the micro containment zone following detection of new cases.
