Kerala continued to report spike in covid cases with 131 new positive cases being confirmed yesterday.
It is for the 12th consecutive day that Kerala is recording over 100 new covid cases.
Among the new cases 65 persons are foreign returnees, while 46 people came from other states.75 persons recovered from the disease yesterday.
Presently 2112 persons are under
treatment for Covid in the State.
Meanwhile State Health Minister K. K. Shailaja said that the chances of community spread of virus in the State is less than 10%.
She further opined that in the initial stage, the chances were near to 20%, but the availability of a very strong public health system had enabled Kerala to considerably contain the disease.
