In Jharkhand, new cases of COVID-19 are once again on the rise this week. In all, 131 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of people tested for Corona positive in the state so far to 3,187. More than 350 cases were confirmed within a span of four days.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate in the state has dropped from 76 per cent to 68 per cent, a total of 2,170 people have
recovered and have been discharged from COVID-19 special hospitals. Sixty six people recovered and were discharged in the last 24 hours.
The active caseload including those in hospitals and isolation centres presently stands at 995 while a total of 22 people have succumbed to death due to COVID-19. So far, 1,64,504 samples have been tested in the state.
