1,355 new COVID-19 cases in Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported 1355 new COVID-19 cases, the highest single-day count so far, taking its tally to 45925. This is for the sixth day in running that the J&K has witnessed cases exceeding one thousand.

Of the total 45,925 cases, 32,722 are from Kashmir and 13,203 from Jammu division. Officials told news



agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), among 1,355 new cases, 570 belong to Kashmir division while as 785 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 32,722 including 25,937 recoveries while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 13,203 including 7,314 recoveries and 113 deaths.
