Mumbai: The overall Covid-19 situation is improving in Maharashtra. The state witnessed considerable dip in fresh Covid cases with 1410 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
According to the state’s public health department, the state recorded 1,520 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered patients to 64,35,439. Covid related fatalities also came down with 18 patients
succumbed to the infection in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases in Maharashtra stands at 23,894. States recovery rate is 97.46%.
Out of 6,18,93,695 laboratory samples 66,02,961 have been tested positive (10.67%) for COVID19 until today. Currently 1,91,401 people are in home quarantine and 903 people are in institutional quarantine.
