West Bengal's COVID-19 tally rose to 5,73,910 as 148 more people tested positive for the virus, while two new fatalities pushed the death toll to 10,251 on Monday, a health department bulletin said.
One death each was reported in North 24 Parganas and Paschim Bardhaman
district and both were due to the comorbidities where COVID-19 was incidental, it said.
In the last 24 hours, 231 people recovered from COVID-19 taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 5,60,219.
The state currently has 3,440 active COVID-19 cases.
