1,504 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Telangana

In Telangana, 1,504 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up two lakh 35 thousand 656. The state conducted over 40 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 91.8 per cent with 1,436 more people recovering from the infection. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to two lakh 16 thousand 353.

 

The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department stated that total deaths rose to 1,324 following five more people



succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. Currently, the state has nearly 18 thousand active cases out of which nearly 15 thousand are in home isolation.

 

Meanwhile, 288 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad while Medchal Malkajgiri and Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda  districts reported around 100 new cases each. Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Karimnagar and Siddipet districts are among which reported a considerably high number of cases each during the past 24 hours.
