174 new cases reported in Bihar

Bihar reported 174 new cases during the last 24 hours, taking the total figure to 3,359 in the state. With four deaths, the casualties due to Corona have been mounted to 20. The number of recovered patients is 1,209 and 2,130 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals at present. Of the total positive cases, 2,368 are migrants. So far, 72,256 samples have been tested in the state.

 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the District



Magistrates not to mix new batches of migrants with those who are already staying in quarantine centre. Mr Kumar said, there should be seperate arrangements for new people.

 

Meanwhile, ahead of end of Lockdown 4.0 tomorrow, the Chief Minister ordered further relaxation asking all District Magistrates to re-open public service centres in their districts while maintaining social distance norms.
