1,759 new Covid-19 cases in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Wednesday reported 1,759 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,945 recoveries.

Twenty-seven new deaths were also reported.

This takes the total



number of cases in the country to 272,590, and recoveries to 228,569. The death toll from the infection now stands at 2,816.

There are 41,205 active cases in the Kingdom, the ministry said, of which 2,063 are critical.
