179 new cases of COVID-19 reported in country

New Delhi: A total of 179 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours. 208 people have recovered during the same period. The recovery rate is currently at 98.8 per cent. India's active caseload currently stands at two thousand 227 and it is at 0.01 per



cent.  

Union Health Ministry said, over 52,000 vaccine doses of Covid were administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive. So far, over 220 crore 16 lakh vaccine doses were administered across the country.
