18 new Covid-19 cases reported in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, 18 people tested positive for COVID 19 yesterday taking the total number of corona cases to 2,237 in the state. Recovery rate in the state has improved to 71 percent after a total of 1,575 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.

 

A 78-year old person died yesterday due to COVID-19 in RIMS



Hospital,Ranchi taking the corona deathtoll to thirteen in the state. The active caseload including those in hospitals and isolation centres presently stands at 631. So far, 128214 samples have been tested in the state, and the mortality rate is as low as 0.54 percent in comparison to the national average of 3.17 percent.
