In Bihar, COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 88.67per cent in the state. In all, 1,845 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, while 1,369 tested negative. One lakh 32 thousand 145 patients have recovered from the infection in the state so far. Sixteen thousand 120 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals at present. Positive cases have mounted to one lakh 49 thousand 27.
The total number of testings has crossed 41 lakhs 75 thousands in the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed the officials concerned to
increase the ness regarding COVID-19 in the light of upcoming State Assembly elections and festive seasons. Mr Kumar asked to ensure distribution of four masks and one soap to every family in every village in the state as preventive measures.
Meanwhile, Patna District Administration has allowed all shops and malls to open without any curbs on timings from today. Similarly, hotels, restaurants and religious places have also been opened. Zoo and parks will open from tomorrow.
