1,850 new cases of coronavirus infections in Telangana

Telangana reported 1,850 new Covid-19 infections and five fatalities on Saturday, pushing the death toll to 288 and cumulative cases of coronavirus to 22,312. In the last 24 hours, 1,572 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from areas under GHMC.

According to the health bulletin, 1,342 persons were discharged



on Saturday which has taken the number of recoveries to 11,537 while the number of active cases Covid-19 infections has now risen to 10,487.

In the last 24 hours, authorities tested 6,427 samples out of which 4,577 tested negative while 1,850 tested positive.
