In Madhya Pradesh, Covid recovery rate has improved to 76 percent. 

The fatality rate has come down to 1.4 percent from 2.4 percent.
 
At present, there are more than 17 thousand active cases in Madhya Pradesh.
 
Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman informed that there is no problem of beds availability in the state but necessary arrangements are being made for coming months.
 
At present, about 55 percent ICU beds are occupied in cities like Bhopal and Indore. 

While about 21 percent of patients with



symptoms of COVID -19 are under home isolation.
 
Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in the state climbed up to 79,192 after record 1,869 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
 
With 31 patients succumbing to the infection, the death toll rose to 1,640.
 
As per the state health bulletin, 1,341 coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospitals on Wednesday taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 59,850. 

There are now 17,702 active cases in Madhya Pradesh.
