1967 new Covid-19 cases reported in Telangana

Telangana reported 1967 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, pushing the state's overall tally of positive cases close to one lakh mark. The total number of coronavirus cases in the state stands at 99 thousand 391 so far.

As per the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning, 1781 people have been discharged from various hospitals



across the state after recovering from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

With this, the recovery rate in Telangana also increased to 77.43 per cent and the total number of people recovered from the infection has risen to 76 thousand 967. Meanwhile, with 8 more fatalities yesterday the death toll due to COVID-19 has reached 737.
