197 new cases of COVID-19 in Telangana

Telangana has recorded 197 new Covid-19 infections and one fatality on Saturday taking the overall toll to 1,589 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,93,253. As of Thursday, there were 3,389 active Covid-19 cases in the State.

A total of 376 persons recovered on Saturday taking the



cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,88,275 with a recovery rate of 98 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96.6 per cent.

So far, a total of 76,62,540 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,93,253 have tested positive and 2,88,275 persons have recovered.
