1,998 new Covid-19 cases reported in Bihar

In Bihar, COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 86 percent which is 9 per cent more than national average. Positivity rate in the state stood at 1.89 per cent. One lakh 12 thousand 445 people have recovered from the infection in the state so far.

With this, active cases are decreasing. 17 thousand 728 patients are



undergoing treatment in various hospitals at present. Positive cases mounted to 1 lakh 30,848 after 1,998 fresh cases were detected in the past 24 hours.

The death toll due to COVID-19 in the state has risen to 674. The total number of tests has crossed 28 lakh 82 thousand in the state.
