2,204 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths in UAE

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 2,204 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,693 recoveries and 8 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 242,026 additional tests.

Over 32.6 million tests have been



conducted across the UAE to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The total number of cases in UAE as on March 10 are 417,909 while total recoveries stand at 398,126. The death toll rises to 1,353.
