2,276 new Covid-19 cases reported in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh reported 2,276 fresh covid cases yesterday, while 1,075 patients recovered from infection. The state’s active count stands at 14,185 while positivity rate was 8.9%. With 11 patients succumbing to the infection the death toll rose to 3,958.

Indore reported the highest 603 new cases followed by Bhopal with 498 cases.



While Jabalpur reported 172 covid positive cases. Indore and Bhopal have more than 3000 active cases.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given a ‘Meri Holi-Mere Ghar’ call, appealing people to celebrate the festival of colours at their home in view of rising covid 19 cases in the state.
