229 new coronavirus cases records in UP, tally stands to 6,726

Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday reported 229 new coronavirus cases, taking the state total to 6,726.

164 patients were declared recovered and discharged on Tuesday, taking the total

number of discharged cases to 3,824.

There are 2,723 active cases in the state to date.

So far, 177 coronavirus-related deaths have taken place in Uttar Pradesh.
