2,294 fresh cases of COVID-19 in Maharashtra

On Tuesday, Maharashtra's coronavirus tally rose to 19,94,97 with the addition of 2,294 fresh cases. More than 4,500 patients recovered from the infection and the number of discharges has climbed to

18,94,839.

As many as 50 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours. The death toll of the state has now climbed to 50,523.

There are 48,406 active cases in the state at present.
