2,483 new Covid-19 cases reported in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, more than 20 thousand tests are being conducted every day while around 17 lakh tests have been conducted till date to check Corona infection.

 

In September, 26,765 new COVID-19 cases and 397 fatalities were reported in the state so far.

 

Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest single-day spike of 2,483 Corona virus cases on Monday, taking the statewide count to 90,730.

 

With 29 more fatalities, the death toll went up to 1,791.

 

As per



the State Health Bulletin, 1,713 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the count of recoveries in the state to 67 thousand 711.

 

The state now has 7,020 active containment zones and 21,228 active cases.

 

The number of COVID-19 cases in Indore, the worst-hit district in the state, rose to 17,161.

 

Bhopal's overall case tally stood at 13,431 while the case count in Gwalior and Jabalpur went up to 7,825 and 6, 441, respectively.
