27,561 new COVID-19 cases, 40 deaths in Delhi

Delhi on Wednesday reported 27,561 new cases of Covid-19 and 40 deaths. The positivity rate in the city stands at 26.22 per cent. On Tuesday, the city had recorded 21,259 Covid-19 cases and 23 deaths.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain Wednesday said



restrictions in the national capital will be lifted if Covid-19 cases decrease in the next 2-3 days. The city on Wednesday recorded no fresh Omicron cases, keeping the total number of detected cases so far at 546, which is the third-highest tally in the country after Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
