In Nagaland, 28 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported yesterday, taking the total confirmed cases to 3,950. 41 people have also recovered yesterday. With this, the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients have also improved to 77.42 percent.
Of the 28 new cases, 19 are from the Armed Forces, five from returnees and four from traced contacts.
Currently, the State has 874 active cases while 3,058 have recovered. So far, eight have lost their lives.
Till date, the Armed Forces have contributed the highest cases of COVID-19 patients in the State with 1,692 cases, 1,260 among the returnees/travelers, 715 traced contacts and 283 are frontline workers.
